Terms and Conditions
By using the products and/or services of Parade Portfolio Management Tools, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”).
Parade Portfolio Management Tools reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service.
Violation of any of the terms below will result in the termination of your Parade account.
Account Terms
- You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Parade Portfolio Management Tools cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
- You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
Content and Copyright Ownership
- We do not and will not claim intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the service. Your profile, photos and all materials uploaded remain yours.
- We will not be held responsible for the misuse of copyrighted content of any kind (including music, photos, quotes, etc.) on the websites served by Parade Portfolio Management Tools.
- Parade Portfolio Management Tools reserves the right (but not the obligation) to refuse or remove any content that is available via the service.
Payment, Refunds and "Template Switching" Terms
- A valid credit card is required for paying accounts.
- A one-time set-up fee will be charged for your selected website template.
- When you initially sign up for a Parade account, you will be billed immediately upon registration for the one-time set-up fee and the first month of service. Your recurring billing cycle will begin on that date and you will be billed monthly for as long as you choose to subscribe to the service.
- Our service is billed in advance, on a monthly basis, and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, template switch refunds, or refunds for months unused with an open account. In order to treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made. There is, however, a special reduced one-time set-up fee of 50% for existing Parade clients wishing to switch their template plan at any time.
- If you choose to switch templates after you have become a Parade user, you will only be billed 50% of the set-up fee for whatever design you choose from the Parade Designs. The recurring, monthly subscription fee for Parade Portfolio Management Tools will remain the same.
- For any change in your plan, your credit card that you initially provided upon registration will automatically be charged the new rate on your next billing cycle.
Cancellation and Termination
- You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. You can cancel your account at any time by clicking on the account link on your dashboard. A cancellation option is provided.
- All of your content will be immediately deleted from the service upon cancellation. This information cannot be recovered once your account is cancelled.
- If you cancel the service before the end of your current paid-up month, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged again the following month.
Modifications to the Service and Prices
- Parade Portfolio Management Tools reserves the right, at any time and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
- Prices of all services, including but not limited to one-time set-up fees and monthly subscription plan fees, are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the Parade website (www.getparade.com) or through the Portfolio Management Tool itself.
- Parade Portfolio Management Tools shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the service.
General Conditions
- Your use of the products and services of Parade Portfolio Management Tools is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- Technical support is only provided to paying account holders and is available via email and set office telephone hours (Mountain Standard Time).
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the services provided by Parade Portfolio Management Tools, without the written permission of Parade Portfolio Management Tools. We may, but have no obligation to, remove content and accounts containing content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service.
- You understand that Parade Portfolio Management Tools uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary software, hardware, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the service.
- Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Parade customer or staff member will result in the termination of your account.
- You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the service, including your content, may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.
- You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
- You understand and agree that Parade Portfolio Management Tools shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Parade Portfolio Management Tools has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: the use or the inability to use the service; the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or any other matter relating to the service.
